Is It Sexual Harassment or Isn't It?

In 2016, there were 6758 complaints made to the EEOC alleging sexual harassment in the workplace. But for sexual harassment to be illegal, it has to be so frequent or severe that it creates a hostile or offensive work environment. Why are all these cases occurring? What’s going on?

We will be talking about the legal definition of sexual harassment, how to know if it applies to you, and what you can do about sexual harassment once it’s been recognized.

Have you ever wondered what to do when the person in the cubicle next to you starts watching porn on high volume?  Or, who to report to when your master Yogi gets more than a little too handsy? In this episode, we will talk about Stewart v. FCC, a case about watching porn in the workplace, and look into Bikrum Choudhury, a yogi extraordinaire, who was charged for repeatedly harassing female employees in his Los Angeles yoga studio.

We really want to give people ways to stay safe at work, and provide some entertainment in the process! Listen in for tips, as we talk about the, unfortunately, real role that sex plays in day-to-day work environments.
